Tabular Manifold
Improving boost response
This is a new manifold design by Stoute Sports. Its a tabular four into one equal length manifold. Each cylinder fires directly into the turbo. The downpipe is also much bigger and there are no sharp turns. I am looking for at least 20hp at the top end and full boost 500rpm earlier
Measuring the performance before trhe change is done via an Aux box .This device measures boost , RPM, duty cylce and accelleration. It piggybacked onto the piggy back
This is the engine bay currently. it has been quite reliable. No problems whatsoever.
A tubular manifold will produce goos top end power and will not improve boost response. Actually a log will outperform a tabular as it relates to boost response.It is best to keep the runners as short as possible when boosting a large turbo from a small engine
